Getting Christmas Ready!

We have been busy this week getting ready for Christmas! We have practiced our songs for the play almost every day! We've gotten really good at ringing those bell!
Tuesday we made a beautiful glittered ornament for our trees at home. Today, Mrs. Walker painted our hands and we made them in the shape of a Christmas tree. When it was dry, we put our fingerprints in the paint, and made the ornaments. Ms. Allene added a star to the top of each tree! They are really beautiful!🎄

Thanksgiving Feast

Happy "late" Thanksgiving from our class! We had a great feast on Friday before our holidays began. We feasted on chicken, macaroni and cheese, grapes, rolls, and cookies. It wasn't your traditional turkey and dressing, but we all enjoyed it! Thanks to all our parents who helped with our meal.

OCTOBER!!!!!

October was a very busy month in Kindergarten! We took 2 field trips, celebrates the 50th day of school, and learned all about Fall.
Our first field trip was around Cleveland. We visited Air Repair, the new fire station, Wade, Inc, and the Martin and Sue King Train Museum. We finished up with a delicious treat at Delta Dairy.
The very next day we visited Bull Bottom Farms in Duck Hill. It was great fun, and we all came home with the perfect pumpkin.🎃
On the 50th day of school, we celebrated with an old fashion sock hop. We dressed up in 50's attire and danced our hearts out! It was a fun experience! We are halfway to the 100th day of school!
We have learned all about the Fall season in the middle of all of our fun. We collected leaves and acorns, watched the leaves turn colors, and felt the temperatures drop. I'd say we've had a busy month.

Busy! Busy! Busy!

Over the last 2 weeks, we have had a lot going on. We visited the BPAC, and saw the play, "Flat Stanley". It was a fun play about a boy who traveled to lots of places in an envelope!
Thursday the Fire Inspector, Mr. Greg Jackson, came and talked to is about fire safety. He brought 2 firemen with him, and they told us what to do in case of a fire at home or at school. We had a fire drill that day, too. The firemen gave us fire hats and badges before they left. Thank you for all you do for us.
Last Friday, Mrs. Burd announced Perfect Attendance for the first six weeks of school. Some of is had not missed any days, and we got to stand up in chapel!
Next week will be a short week. We have 2 field trips scheduled, and Fall Breaknis Friday! We are having a great time and staying busy, too!
