Spirit Week in 5K!

What a great week it's been! Neon Day was a big hit! Who knew there were so many neon pieces of clothing!   Tacky Day is always a fun time! There were several very "interesting" outfits, to say the least! Generation Day turned put to be a fun day, too. I'm not sure they quite understood it, but they rocked it just the same! Favorite Sports Day brought out several Bulldogs, a Miami Heat player, a Dallas Cowboy, a Rebel, and several Statesmen. A great time was had by all!

Grandparents and Grand Friends!

We celebrated our grandparents and grand friends at PDS in "grand" style! We appreciate all they do for us, and we spent a little time showing them how much. Thank you!

Spanish Fun with Mrs. McKnight

Tuesday in Spanish, Mrs. McKnight brought in a special surprise for our class. They were special fun-filled, colorful, confetti eggs called cascarones! She let us try to crack one on her head! A fun time was had by all!

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

We spent last week celebrating one of our favorite authors, Dr. Seuss. We learned lots of rhyming words, some of which were not actually words! We made several fun art projects, and had Cat in the Hat cookies for our snack one day. It really was lots of fun!

Dental Health Week

Thanks to Dr. Jason Jenninga, Lucy's dad, who visited us during Dental Health Week. He showed us how to brush and floss our teeth, told us all about "sugar bugs", and how often we should visit our dentist. He finished his talk by giving each of us a new toothbrush and some toothpaste. Thanks, Dr. Jenninga!

The PARTY❤️

We had a great Valentine party! Mrs. Julie was in charge, and for our activity, we made S'mores in a Jar. We crushed up Graham Crackers, added marshmallows, chocolate chips, and brown sugar to our jars. Then we smashed it all down in the jar, and put on the top. We tied a ribbon with cooking directions around the top, and are goin home to try them out! Thanks moms for all of your help!
