DSU ATHLETES
We are so thankful to Delta State for sending their student athletes to read to us each Friday. The kids love it and they do a great job! I am not sure who set this up, but we have really enjoyed it. The pictures are of baseball Graduate Assistant Luke Stanley and basketball player Ben Harbin. Thanks again DSU!💚
SPRING AND DSU ATHLETES
We have been talking about Spring all week, and believe it or not, the weather has actually cooperated. The first day of Spring was perfect! It was warm and beautiful. We spent our recess looking for different signs of Spring, and realized that the trees and the grass had turned green while we weren't looking. How amazing! We've also found some worms and some bugs! We made some beautiful 3D butterflies and talked about how their wings had to match perfectly. We will continue to talk about Spring after our Achievement Tests next week.

"I Do Like Green Eggs and Ham"
We have had a wild and wacky week in 5K. We celebrated one of our favorite authors, Dr. Seuss, this week. We wore crazy socks, had Wacky Wednesday, and had a photo booth with lots of fun props. It's been a lot of fun, but Mrs. Jones is glad it only comes once a year! Check out our photo booth shots below! Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!
